Removal and Installation
Scan-Axis Motor (T1100/T1100ps/T610)
Removal
1. Remove the Right Cover on page 6-27.
2. Remove the
Left Cover on page 6-30.
3. Loosen the T-10 uncapping screw
sufficiently so you can manually move the
Carriage Assembly in step 4.
If you are uncapping a 44 inch
printer, you will need to use either
a very long or very short
screwdriver to loosen the
uncapping screw. In this way, you
can loosen the screw and pass the
rewinder motor.
4. Push the Carriage Assembly into the print
path.
5. Loosen the T-15 screw Belt Tensioner to the
printer to remove the tension from the belt.
Switch off the printer and remove the power cable.
