Device port
CIM uses an FCPort class and a ProtocolEndPoint class for device ports. Fabric Manager provides a
CIM_FCPort view for the FCPort class. This view also contains rows for switch ports. See ”Switch port” on
page 245 for information on the CIM_FCPort view.
Fabric Manager does not have a view for the ProtocolEndPoint class.
Zone_config
Zone_config is represented in CIM by ZoneSet. Zone_config in the Fabric Manager database determines
the following record types:
• Config
• Zone
• Alias
• Quickloop
Use CIM_ZoneSet to access the Fabric Manager information (see Table 31).
