Device diagnostics
A device diagnostic wizard is available to check communication problems that may arise between devices
in the same fabric, or devices shared through router switches. The wizard checks:
• Device status
• Switch port health status
• Zone configuration in the fabric
• Active DCC policy availability in the secure fabric
• LSAN zone configurations in the edge fabrics
• Devices moved to a new fabric
• Fabric segmentation
• FC router physical connection status
NOTE: You can diagnose only two device ports at a time.
To use the device diagnostic wizard:
1. Select Tools > Device Connectivity Troubleshooting.
An overview screen opens.
2. Click Next.
3. The Select Device to Troubleshoot window opens (see Figure 158).
