19 Creating reports
Fabric Manager provides Fabric Summary and Physical Inventory reports in a format designed to provide
quick insight into your fabrics and switches.
NOTE: These reports are supported only on the Windows platform and require Microsoft Excel to be
installed.

Generating the fabric summary report
Figure 154 shows a sample Fabric Summary report. This report is similar to the SANHealth reports, but
does not include information on SysLogs, SNMP, errors, and so forth.
NOTE: The Fabric Summary report does not support foreign fabrics.

You can generate a fabric summary report on all fabrics, or on individual fabrics or switches by specifying
the IP, WWN, name, or domain. If you select all fabrics, a worksheet is created for each fabric.
