7. Click OK.
8. In the Configure Applications for Switch window, click Apply.
9. In the SAN Elements tab, right-click the switch you just configured and select Management Application
> Launch > WebTools SwitchExplorer.
The Advanced Web Tools Switch Explorer window for that switch opens (see Figure 152).

Importing device WWNs
Foreign fabric definitions stored in a .csv file can be imported into Fabric Manager through the Shared
Device wizard. The Shared Device wizard creates the LSAN in the HP StorageWorks fabrics that are being
managed from Fabric Manager and the foreign fabrics that the devices were imported from. A list is
generated (the Summary step in the Shared Device wizard) that shows the LSAN you must create and the
WWNs of the members that belong to that LSAN.
When an LSAN is modified in Fabric Manager, the changes are made to the HP fabrics. For foreign
fabrics, the final zone definition is displayed. For example, if, in foreign fabrics, you delete device D1 and
add device D2 to LSAN_Test1, the output is similar to the following:
“Modifying the existing LSAN_Test1.
The final members list should be: D2,wwn1, wwn3, ... ”
