8. Choose one of the following options to set up your passwords:
•Click Keep Current Passwords to keep all of your current passwords (not recommended).
•Click Use Same Passwords for all Accounts to use a single password (not recommended).
• Enter new passwords for all user accounts and access levels.
Passwords must contain between 8 and 40 characters and must differ from the current passwords by
at least one character.
9. Click Next.
10.Optional: You can create a set of policies as part of enabling secure mode (see Figure 108).
CAUTION: If you create policies without Fabric Manager client/server IP addresses, or if you create
empty Serial, Telnet HTTP, and API policies simultaneously, you cannot then manage security and the
switch.
