5 Set a static IP and Subnet mask address for the port. Select values that do
not conflict with any other machine on your network. Consider using
the following values:
■ IP address: 192.168.125.10
■ Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
6 Click OK twice.
To configure the Autodesk control surface on Linux-based workstations:
➤ On the Lustre workstation, use a text editor such as nedit to configure the
network port connected to the control surface with an unrelated static
IP address that does not interfere with any of the IP addresses on the
network. Also assign an appropriate subnet mask. Type:
nedit
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth<port#>
Modify the IPADDR and NETMASK values. For example:
IPADDR=192.168.125.10
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
