NOTE The above diagrams represent a Windows-based configuration. Components
may differ slightly for the Linux configuration but the control surface connections
are identical.
Assigning an IP Address to the Autodesk
Control Surface
After you have connected the Autodesk control surface, you must assign it an
IP address.
To configure the Autodesk control surface on Windows-based workstations:
1 Click Start | Settings | Network Connections.
NOTE You can also access Network Connections from the Control Panel.
2 Right-click the port that the control surface switch or panel is connected
to and choose Properties.
3 In the Local Area Connections Properties dialog box, select Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.
