If the LED fails to light at powerup, or goes off during operation, a faulty scan is indicated. Alpha and graphics logic is thoroughly tested at powerup, and appropriate messages are issued if failures occur. System Integrity Test The System Integrity Tests (SIT) include 98760 diagnostics.
