line-timeout <minutes>
Use the line-timeout command to specify the number of minutes a line session may remain inactive before
the Secure Router OS terminates the session. Use the no form of this command to return to the default
value.
Syntax Description
<minutes> Specifies the number of minutes a line session may remain inactive before the
Secure Router OS terminates the session
Entering a line-timeout value of 0 disables the feature.
Default Values
<minutes> 15 minutes (Console and Telnet)
Command Modes
(config-line)# Line Configuration Mode
Valid interfaces include: Console (con 0) and Telnet (telnet X)
Usage Examples
The following example specifies a timeout of 2 minutes:
(config)#line console 0
(config-con 0)#line-timeout 2
