spanning-tree pathcost method [short | long]
Use the spanning-tree pathcost command to select a short or long pathcost method used by the
spanning-tree protocol.
Syntax Description
short Choose a short pathcost method.
long Choose a long pathcost method.
Default Values
By default, this is set to short.
Command Modes
(config)# Global Configuration Mode required
Usage Examples
The following example designates the spanning-tree protocol to use a long pathcost method:
(config)#spanning-tree pathcost method long
