snmp-server contact <string>
Use the snmp-server contact command to specify the SNMP sysContact string. Use the no form of this
command to remove a configured contact.
Syntax Description
“<string>” Alphanumeric string encased in quotes (up to 32 characters in length) used to
populate the sysContact string.
Default Values
<string> Customer Service
Command Modes
(config)# Global Configuration Mode required
Usage Examples
The following example specifies Network Administrator x4000 for the sysContact string:
(config)#snmp-server contact “Network Administrator x4000”
