aaa processes <threads>
Use the aaa processes command to set the number of threads available to the AAA subsystem. Use the no
form of this command to return to the default setting. For more detailed information on AAA functionality,
refer to the Technology Review section of the command aaa on on page 206.
Syntax Description
<threads> Enter the number of threads available to the AAA subsystem. Range: 1-64.
Default Values
By default, this is set to 1 process.
Command Modes
(config)# Global Configuration Mode
Functional Notes
Increasing this number may speed up simultaneous authentication at the cost of system resources (e.g.,
memory).
Usage Examples
The following example specifies five available threads for the AAA subsystem:
(config)#aaa processes 5
