Command Reference
bootfile backup
Purpose Use the bootfile backup command to specify the backup boot file.
Syntax bootfile backup backup-bootfile-name
Parameters backup-bootfile-name
Backup boot file for the router. If the specified file is
not located on the current directory, you must specify
the path to it also.
Example Specify a backup boot file.
[3Com]bootfile backup router.bin
Set backup boot file successfully!
View information on the boot files in the Flash to verify that the backup boot file has
been successfully specified.
[3Com] bootfile dir
Available boot file(s):
’M’ = MAIN, ’B’ = BACKUP, ’S’ = SECURE
