Command Reference
rsh
Purpose Use the rsh command to execute a command on a remote host remotely.
Syntax rsh host [ user username ] command remote-command
Parameters host
IP address or host name of the remote host.
user username
Login user that is allowed to execute the RSH
command on the remote host. If no user is specified,
the system name of the router, which is specified using
the sysname command, applies.
command
Sets the command to be executed remotely.
remote-command
The command to be executed on the remote host. The
commands to be supported depend on the operating
system running on the RSH server.
Example Execute the dir command remotely on the remote server at 169.254.1.100 (the
operating system is Windows 2000).
