Command Reference
tunnel name
Purpose Use the tunnel name command to specify local name of a tunnel.
Use the undo tunnel name command to restore the local name to the default.
Syntax tunnel name name
undo tunnel name
Parameters name
Local name of the tunnel, comprised of a character
string from 1 to 30 characters long.
Example Set local name of the tunnel to itsme.
[3Com-l2tp1] tunnel name itsme
Default By default, local name is router name.
View This command can be used in the following views:
■ L2TP Group view
Description When creating an L2TP group, the system initiates local name into router name.
