Command Reference
peer description
Purpose Use the peer description command to configure the description information of
the peer/peer group.
Use the undo peer description command to remove the description
information of the peer/peer group.
Syntax peer { group-name | peer-address } description description-line
undo peer { group-name | peer-address } description
Parameters group-name
Specifies the name of the peer group.
peer-address
Specifies the IP address of the peer.
description-line
Description information to be configured, an
alphanumeric string up to 79 characters.
Default By default, no description information is configured for a peer (group).
Example Configure the description information of the peer named group1 as beijing1.
[3Com -bgp] peer group1 description beijing1
