You must be familiar with the Domain/OS shells and commands to trouble-
shoot Series 4(HIsystem units that are running in Domain compatible mcde. You
must be able to start and stop processes.
Youshould also tmmme familiar with a
number of standalone utilities, and with both the online and offline diagnostics.
The

for Domain
nodes, and Using Domain Diugrroslics,Volume 1 describes the MD
environment and the diagnostics.
For Series 400 systemsthat run Domain compatible mode, note any error or
status messages,and then run the power-u diagnostics,known as Self Tat. If
the Self T&t diagnostic fail, replace the
