For Fibre Channel transceivers or FC loops the Gb transfer rates are:
• 1 Gb is a transmission rate of 1,062,500,000 bits per second.
• 2 Gb is a transmission rate of 2,125,000,000 bits per second.
GB Gigabyte. A unit of measurement defining either:
• Adatatransferrate.
