Creating a Remote Virtual Copy

b Select Create Remote Virtual Copy from the Actions drop-down menu on the menu
bar.
c Enter the remote backup server name in the Target Server Name field.

NOTE: A Target Server name is required. Target Server is a remote server which is
a Recovery Manager backup server with the same version of Recovery Manager
for SQL installed.
NOTE: Remote Virtual Copy will not be seen on the GUI from Recovery Manager
Backup server. However, Virtual Copy can be mounted at an instance or database
level from the remote target server which also contains the Recovery Manager
Backup server component. To check the Remote Virtual Copy, please use the
Recovery Manager GUI or run the CLI
RMSql display command from the
remote target server.
