Creating Instance or Database Virtual Copy

c Select Create Virtual Copy from the Actions drop-down menu on the menu bar.
Once a virtual copy is created, it appears under the Virtual Copy Management node under
the relevant instance name (see the following figure). The virtual copy is given a timestamp
that is used as its name.
Result: A newly created timestamp will be added to Virtual Copy Management->instance tree
node in the Node Tree Pane.
To create a virtual copy of a database:
1 Navigate through the node tree view on the left pane and locate the database for which a
virtual copy is to be created.
NOTE: Creating a Virtual Copy of an Instance creates a Virtual Copy of all the
volumes where all the databases reside. Therefore, it is recommended that only
database data files be stored in the volume.
