Opening the Recovery Manager GUI

6.1.2 Node Tree Pane
Once the SQL server/instance is registered, the SQL instance’s databases, virtual copies, and
backup records are displayed as a nested tree in this pane. For information about registering
SQL servers, see Server Registration on page 6.4.
6.1.3 Informational Right Pane
When a tree node is selected, its detailed information is displayed as a table the right pane.
6.2 Opening the Recovery Manager GUI
To open the Recovery Manager GUI, locate and double-click the 3PAR Recovery Manager
for SQL icon on your desktop.
6.3 Closing the Recovery Manager GUI
To close the Recovery Manager GUI, you close the entire window or select Console > Exit
from the menu bar.
6.4 Server Registration
Before the Recovery Manager GUI can manage Microsoft SQL Servers, their corresponding
instances must first be registered.
