This chapter describes how to install, verify, and deinstall Recovery Manager.
3.1 Installing Recovery Manager
Before installing 3PAR Recovery Manager, install the InForm OS Command Line Interface (CLI)
for remote clients as well as 3PAR VSS Provider for Microsoft Windows. For details on installing
the CLI, see the 3PAR InForm OS CLI Administrator’s Manual. For details on installing the 3PAR
VSS provider, see the 3PAR VSS Provider User Guide.
Install 3PAR Recovery Manager on a host computer where the Microsoft SQL Server is running.
