you must also change the owner and permission as follows:
3.6 Removing Recovery Manager from Solaris Systems
To remove 3PAR Recovery Manager from a Solaris system:
1 Log in as the
root user.
2 Use the
pkgrm command as follows:
#chmod 550 /opt/3par/vcdbaora
# chown -R <user>:<group> /etc/3par/solutions/
<primary_host>.ora.<oracle_sid>
# pkgrm VCDBAora
