Check cable. (This message appears when the trans-
mission type is Direct or Direct SCP)
Check modem and cable. (This message appears
when the transmission type is Modem or Modem
SCP.)
Check that at least one of the modem’s LEDs is on.
Check that the data cable is attached to the modem
and to the cardiograph’s RS-232 port. Check opera-
tion of the RS-232 port.

Be sure the remote site is ready to send or receive
the transmission.
7127-7141 Fax transmission problems. 1. Verify that the remote fax is a group III fax
machine.
2. Check the fax machine initialization string.
9001-9007 Sender time-out while waiting for response from
receiver during transmission using Direct transmis-
sion protocol.
Retry transmission at 2400 bps.
9010-9015 Receiver time-out waiting for response from sender. Retry transmission at 2400 bps.
9021 Normal Direct transmission link termination. No action. Normal event. Transmission completed
successfully
9022 Operator stopped transmission at remote site. Contact the remote site.
9023 Cardiograph stopped transmission due to a system
error at the local or remote site. The most common
remote site error is missing paper on the receiving
cardiograph.
Check the receiving device to make sure it is ready
to receive the transmission.
