wer distribution
The power
distribution in an Enterprise Virtual Array rack is the same for all variants. The s ite AC input
voltage is routed to the dua l PDU assembly mounted in the rack lower rear. Each PDU distributes AC to a
maximum of four PDMs mounted on the left and right vertical rails (see Figure 27).
• PDMs 1 through 3 connect to receptacles A through D on PDU 1. Power cords connect these
PDMs to t
he number 1 drive enclosure power supplies a nd to the upper controller enclosure.
• PDMs 4 through 6 connect to receptacles A through D on PDU 2. Power cords connect these
PDMs to the number 2 drive enclosure power supplies and to the lower controller enclosure.
NOTE:
The loc
ations of the PDUs and the PDMs are the same in all racks.
