Disk drive blank
To maintain the proper enclosure air flow, a disk drive or a disk drive b lank must be installed in each
drive bay. The disk drive blank maintains proper a ir flow within the disk enclosure.
Power supplies and blowers
This section describes the function and o peration of the disk enclosure power supplies and blowers.
Figure 16 illustrates the major power supply and cooling components.
