Notes

Use 2A subminiature Fuse 150-1174.1.

The Sun 3004 CPU must be 501-1163-09, 501-1164-09 or greater. All 501-1208 revisions are

usable.

501-1276-02 or greater is required for use with the SunLink Channel Adapter board.3.

The Sun-4/330 requires Power Supply 300-1072.4.

Set the FDDI Controller Switch 1, Dip 1, to ON if the DMA uses 32-bit addresses. All Sun

systems use 32-bit DMA.

Set the FDDI Controller Switch 1, Dip 1, to OFF if the DMA uses 24-bit addresses.6.

Release Notes

Diskless booting requires CPU EPROM 3.0 or greater.1.

The minimum operating system is SunOS 4.0.3.2.

The FDDI/DX is not supported in Solaris >=2.2.3.
