4. Select Dashboard security.
5. Select Require password and client certicate to change the security conguration.
6. Press the Exit button to close the OSD.
To install a user certicate on the display:
1. Copy the certicate you installed on your computer onto the root directly of a USB ash drive, and then
insert it into one of the two DreamColor USB ports.
2. Press one of the front bezel buttons to display the button labels, and then press the Open Menu button
to open the OSD.
3. Select Management.
4. Select Remote management services.
5. Select Install client certicate.
6. Press OK to install the certicate.
Logging in to the web dashboard for the rst time
Once you have congured the dashboard settings, you can log in to the dashboard from a web browser. Any
device on the same local network can connect to the display. The rst time you connect to the dashboard you
need to congure the web site.
To log in to and congure the web dashboard:
1. Open a web browser.
2. Enter the display’s IP address in the address bar, and then press Enter.
The browser connects to the display and the initial setup screen is displayed.
3. Enter DreamColor (the default password) and click Next.
If you congured the display to use certicates and used a certicate with an embedded password, enter
that password instead. The dashboard prompts you to create a new password.
4. Enter a new password in the Create new and Enter again elds, and then click Next.
5. Enter the display details, and then click Next. You must enter values into the display detail elds.
Four elds are provided: Display name, Deployment date, Location, and ID Asset tag. Even though you
must enter information into these elds at this time, you can change this information at a later date.
6. If desired, create user names and passwords for additional users and click Add, or click Skip to bypass
this option.
7. Click Done to complete the initial set up.
The dashboard is now congured for use.
Logging into the web dashboard
To log into the web dashboard:
1. Open a web browser.
2. Enter the display IP address in the address bar, and then press Enter.
The browser connects to the display and the dashboard login screen is displayed.
