8. Remove the USB board (see

9. Remove the WLAN (see

10. Remove the system board (see
System board on page 45).
Remove the display assembly:
CAUTION: Support the display assembly when removing the following screws. Failure to support
the display assembly can result in damage to the display assembly and other computer components.
1. Remove the five Phillips screws (1) that secure the display assembly to the base enclosure.
2.
Remove the display assembly (2).
NOTE: Steps 3 through 8 apply only to non-TouchScreen display assemblies.
3. If it is necessary to replace the display bezel or any of the display assembly subcomponents:
a.
Remove the screw covers (1).
