■ Error Messages

If an error message occurs, the calculator stops running

immediately. Press® to clear the error message, or

press® or Bto redisplay the calculation so that you can

correct it.

Math ERROR

_______________________________________

Causes elhe result exceeds the calculator's

computational range.

*You tried to enter a value that exceeds the

calculator's input range.

•The operation requested is not mathematically

valid (for example, dividing byO).

Correction «Check that the input value is v/ithin theallowable

input range. If you are using memory variables,

check that the stored values will not cause the

calculator to exceed its computational range.

Stack ERROR

Causes «The capacity of the number stack or

operator stack has been exceeded. The

number stack can have 10 levels while the

operator stack can have 24.

Corredion*Simplify the calculation.

•Break up the calculation into two or more parts.

Syntax ERROR______________________________________

Causes «The number entered or operator selected was

not expected or was not in the correct form.

Correction• Press ® or [►] to redisplay the calculation.

The cursor will be at the place where the

error occurred. Correct the problem and

then proceed.

Arg ERROR

Causes «The parameter you entered was not expected

or was not in the correct form.

Correction «Press ® or E to redisplay the calculation.

The cursor will be at the place where the error

occurred. Correct the problem and then

proceed.
