Set the date and time

This chapter contains instructions for other features of the HP Fax that you may want to
use from time to time.
Set the date and time
The current date and time are shown in the display when the machine is on and ready
for use (Ready mode). The date and time will be printed on all faxes you send.
1. Press Menu.
2. Press
!" to choose
SET DATE & TIME
and press Start/Enter.
3. Press Start/Enter when the display shows

USA
(month day year)
and press
Start/Enter.
5. Press Start/Enter when the display shows

6. Set the date and time. You can move the cursor by pressing

7. Press Start/Enter when the date and time are correct.
1-AM 2-PM
will display.
8. Press 1 or 2.
Turn on and off sounds
You can turn on and off the sounds the HP Fax makes.
Alarm sounds
Alarm sounds include the fax tones and beeps.
1. Press Menu repeatedly until
SET UP SOUND
appears and press Start/Enter.
2. Press
!" to select
Alarm Sound
and press Start/Enter.
3. Select
On
or
Off
and press Start/Enter.
