3.3 CCAT Known Issues

3.3.1.1 CCAT IVP File Not Found 
The following message that appears in the Director log shortly after installation is a known 
issue and expected. It causes no harmful effects, and the message will be removed in a future 
release. The directory path and filename will vary by operating system, but it will always end 
in “_RULES_CCAT-IVP.CMP”. An example is:
WARNING on May 27, 2004 6:10:45 AM IST (150.351 sec elapsed) CCATRuleMain decrypt 
() -> IOException:java.io.FileNotFoundException: 
/usr/opt/hp/svctools/common/ccat/data/Tru64_Unix_RULES_CCAT-IVP.CMP (no such file 
or directory)
3.3.2 Windows CCAT Issues 
The following known issues affect CCAT on Windows. 
3.3.2.1 WEBES Directory Tree Missing Or Access Denied 
If your user ID is not a member of the Administrators group as described in the WEBES 
Installation Guide, you will not be able to access or see any directories or files under the 
WEBES directory tree, by default installed to C:\Program Files\hp\svctools.
3.3.2.2 CLI Commands Not Recognized 
If your user ID is not a member of the Administrators group as described in the WEBES 
Installation Guide, you will not be able to execute any WEBES CLI or CCAT CLI commands. 
You will see errors such as the following:
C:\Program Files\hp> desta status 
'desta' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable 
program or batch file. 
C:\Program Files\hp>svctools\common\bin\desta status 
Access is denied. 
3.3.2.3 Empty Start Menu 
If your user ID is not a member of the Administrators group as described in the WEBES 
Installation Guide, you will not see any choices for any of the WEBES tools under the menu 
Start | Programs | Hewlett-Packard Service Tools. You may see choices for other installed 
Hewlett-Packard service tools that are not part of WEBES, such as Service Cockpit or 
SmartScope.
