HOW TO USE THE OVEN
OVEN LIGHTING
By turning the knob to this setting (see picture at the
side).
To turn on the oven light, turn the oven function knob
in either direction to the symbol.
COOKING AND ROASTING WITH
HEAT FROM ABOVE AND BELOW
This oven function is particularly suitable for baking
cakes and other foods that require more heat from
below (e.g. fruit flans, pizza), but it is also suitable
for roasts and poultry. Preheat the oven.
Switching on
1. Turn the oven function selector
either way to
the
position. The yellow light comes on to
indicate that the appliance is switched on.
2. Turn the thermostat control
clockwise to a
temperature setting between 50
o
and 250
o
C. The red
thermostat light comes on. It goes off again when
the temperature setting has been reached.
Switching off
3. Turn the oven function control knob back to the “0”
position, turning it either way.
4. Turn the thermostat control
back to
x
, turning
it anticlockwise.
GRILLING
This method is ideal for quick browning, toasting and
grilling (e.g. Welsh rabbit, toasted sandwiches, small
sausages).
Note:
The oven door must always be left slightly ajar. Fit the
heat screen. Preheat the oven for about 5 minutes.
Switching on
1. Turn the oven function selector
either way to
the

and 250
o
C. The
red thermostat light comes on. It goes off again
when the temperature setting has been reached.

position, turning it either way.
4. Turn the thermostat control
back to

, turning
it anticlockwise.
Caution: the door becomes very hot when the oven is
on. Keep children well out of reach.
