INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION SITE
The room in which the cooking range is to be installed
must have a sufficient air supply for combustion of
gases (2 m
3
/h x kW).
The air input must be directed through one or more
vents in the outer walls with a minimum of 100 cm
2
cross-section.
These vents must be located near the floor, and
preferably opposite the combustion gas exhaust. They
must be built so as to prevent them from being closed
from inside or outside.
If these openings cannot be provided, the air may be
supplied from an adjacent room by proper ventilation
provided that this room is not a bedroom or a
dangerous environment. In that case, open the kitchen
door to let air in.
EXHAUST OF COMBUSTION GASES
Combustion gases from the cooker may be extracted by
a hood discharging directly to the outside (Fig. 1).
Otherwise the correct extraction may be provided by
means of an electric fan fitted to the outer wall or
window with an exhaust capacity which can provide an
hourly air exchange 3 to 5 times that of the cooker
volume (Fig. 2).
Thefanmayonlybeinstalledifsuitableairinletsare
provided as described in the installation site section.
