INSTALLATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. EC markings are in compliance with the following EEC Directives:
x
90/683; 73/23 (Low Voltage) and later amendments;
x
89/336 (Electromagnetic compatibility) and amendments;
x
90/396 (Gas appliances), 93/68 (General Directives) and later
amendments.
2. The cooker may only be installed by a qualified engineer in
compliance with local regulations and the Manufacturers
instructions.
3. Remove all external and internal packing material.
4. Screw the four feet into the special threaded holes at the bottom of
the appliance and adjust for height.
5. The room must be able to withstand at least 50
o
C. If necessary,
provide thermal insulation.
6. There must be at least 650 mm between the hob and the extractor
hood. Read the note on use of the hood carefully.
7. Leave at least 2 cm clearance between surrounding units, other
appliances and the cooker. The units and any other appliances must
not be higher than the cooking range (Class 1 Fire Hazard
Protection).
8. The panels of any unit adjacent to the cooker must be made of
heat-resistant material (75
o
C higher than room temperature).
ROOM VENTILATION
Combustion gases may develop owing to oxygen in the air, so the air
supply must be continuously renewed and the combustion products
removed.
