HOW TO USE THE OVEN
DEFROSTING FROZEN FOODS
This is particularly useful for defrosting frozen foods
quickly. The time it takes depends on the size and type
of food concerned.
Switching on
1. Turn the oven function selector
either way to
the
position. The yellow light comes on to
indicate that the appliance is switched on.
2. Leave the thermostat control
on position
x
.
Switching off
3. Turn the oven function control knob back to the 0
position, turning it either way.
FAN-ASSISTED ROASTING AND
COOKING
This method is ideal for cooking several trays at a time
(small cakes and pastries, biscuits), but is equally
good for roasting beef, pork and lamb.
Switching on
1. Turn the oven function selector
either way to
the
position. The yellow light comes on to
indicate that the appliance is switched on.
2. Turn the thermostat control
clockwise to a
temperature setting between 50
o
and 250
o
C. The red
thermostat light comes on. It goes off again when
the temperature setting has been reached.
Switching off
3. Turn the oven function control knob back to the 0
position, turning it either way.
4. Turn the thermostat control
back to
x
, turning
it anticlockwise.
FAN-ASSISTED INFRARED GRILL
This method is particularly suitable for roasting cuts of
meat when you want to roast the outside quickly and
retain the meat juices inside (e.g. chicken halves, pork
fillet).
Note: Preheat the oven for about 5 minutes.
Switching on
1. Turn the oven function selector
either way to
the
position. The yellow light comes on to
indicate that the appliance is switched on.
2. Turn the thermostat control
clockwise to a
temperature setting between 50
o
and 175
o
C. The red
thermostat light comes on. It goes off again when
the temperature setting has been reached.
Switching off
3. Turn the oven function control knob back to the 0
position, turning it either way.
4. Turn the thermostat control
back to
x
, turning
it anticlockwise.
Attention: use this function for no longer than 30
minutes!
