3) Remove the subframe mounts by unbolting 2 bolts per mount using a 15mm socket. The Sway bar
should be hanging by it’s endlinks at this point. Retain all hardware and brackets for reinstallation.
4) Detach the endlinks from the sway bar using a 21mm wrench and a 10mm wrench.
5) Apply a healthy amount of the provided grease to the new Hotchkis polyurethane bushings. One pack
per bushing should be used. Your kit comes with 5 packs of grease (2 for front, 1 for rear, 2 for front
after 6-12 months). Your front bushings will need to be maintained with grease every 6-12 months
depending on your driving conditions. We include 2 extra packs for this purpose.
Once greased, install the new bushings onto your new Hotchkis sway bar.
