Zoning and Humidification
Fig. 362. Prestige IAQ controlling one zone with an HZ432 zone panel and a TrueSTEAM humidifier.
Setting up Humidification Control on Prestige or Prestige IAQ
Select the terminals wired to the humidifier at ISU 8030 (U1, U2, U3). In Fig. 362, the humidifier is wired to U1. To
humidify in all zones, set ISU 8070 Humidification Control to Humidify on Demand: Humidifier Controls Fan. Call
Honeywell zoning at 1-800-828-8367 if you need assistance with the zoning controls.

A DEDICATED TRANSFORMER SHOULD POWER THE HZ432. IF A DIFFERENT TRANSFORMER IS USED TO POWER THE EIM,
THE JUMPER FROM R TO RH NEEDS TO BE REMOVED AND THE RH AND RC FROM EIM GETS WIRED TO R ON THE ZONE
THAT THE EIM IS WIRED TO.
THE PRESTIGE THERMOSTAT CAN BE POWERED FROM ANY TRANSFORMER. IN THIS EXAMPLE IT IS WIRED BACK TO THE EIM.
DOTTED LINES ONLY APPLY TO MULTI-STAGE EQUIPMENT. SEE HZ432 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR HEAT PUMP WIRING.
RH/RC JUMPER INSTALLED WHEN SINGLE HEAT/COOL TRANSFORMER IS USED.
TO SIMPLIFY THE DIAGRAM, THE PRESTIGE IAQ IS CONTROLLING ZONE 4 BECAUSE IT IS LOCATED ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE
EQUIPMENT WIRING ON THE PANEL. THE PRESTIGE IAQ COULD BE WIRED TO ANY ZONE ON THE HZ432 AND IS MOST
COMMONLY WIRED TO ZONE 1.
