Bluetooth
To view these settings:
• From the printer Main Menu, select Settings > Communications > Bluetooth.
• From the printer web page, click Configure > Communications > Bluetooth.
PAC Sets the name of the PAC (Protected Access Credential)
file that is used for EAP-FAST authentication. The printer
uses this file if Acquire PAC is ON and the current
installed PAC fails to authenticate the printer to the
network.

Acquire PAC Determines if automatic PAC file provisioning is on for
EAP-FAST authentication.

Method
Specifies how the printer obtains an IP address. Manual
(IPv4) IP Address Specifies the unique network-level address that is
assigned to each device in a TCP/IP network (IPv4).

addresses that can be used in a TCP/IP network (IPv4).

Device Name Sets the name that identifies the printer in the
Bluetooth network. Maximum length is 16 characters.

Discover Determines if other Bluetooth devices can detect the
printer

Passkey Sets the passkey that is used when pairing Bluetooth
devices to the printer. Range is 1 to 16 characters
(case-sensitive)

Bluetooth device. The first Bluetooth device that
connects with the printer locks out any other
