1 SAFETY WARNINGS 1.1 Warning WARNING: risk of fire / flammable materials This appliance is intended to be used in household, non-retail applications. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
2 PROPER USE OF REFRIGERATOR 2.1 Installation When selecting a position for your unit you should make sure the floor is flat and firm, and the room is well ventilated. Avoid placing your unit near a heat source. Avoid direct sunlight as it may increase the electrical consumption. Extremely cold temperatures may also cause the unit not to perform properly. This unit is not designed for use in a garage or outdoor installation.
02 Removing the freezer door Remove the hinge cover and cover plate. Then remove the upper hinge with a cross head screwdriver. Raise the freezer door upward. Sleeve Pipe Middle Hinge Hole Cap 04 Replacing the bottom hinge Remove the lower hinge with a cross screwdriver. Screw the bolt out of the lower hinge and into the other side hold of lower hinge.
05 Replacing the door accessories Take out the top hinge and hinge shaft hole plate from the top of freezer and refrigerator doors. Fit the top hinge on the other side of door. Remove the bottom hinge, and fix it to the other side of the door with screws. Take the middle hinge, and fix them to the left side of freezer door. 08 Removing the handles Remove the handle caps. Screw the handle fastening screws with an Allen key. Remove the handle. 09 Fitting the handles Remove the screws from the handles and fit them on the other side of the door. Place the handle into the handle bolts and screw it tightly with the Allen key. 10 Fitting the accessories Put the handle caps in, handle cover plate, hinge hole plug and middle beam pin in place.
11 Flipping the handle of the appliance doors When the door is changed between left and right, the refrigerator handle (A) is placed on the freezer, and the freezer handle (B) is placed on the refrigerator. A B B A 2.4 Leveling the Unit To raise the appliance, turn the feet clockwise. To lower the appliance, turn the feet counterclockwise. Adjust the right and left feet based on the procedures above to a horizontal level.
2.5 Before Using Your Unit Before plugging in You must check that you have a socket which is compatible with the plug supplied within the unit. 2.7 Ice Maker Installation Remove a protective cover before connecting the wire of the ice machine in the box. Tools Required: • 1/4 inch copper supply line with shut off valve • 1/4 inch brass compression nut and ferrule The copper tubing and shut off valve are available in a kit from your local hardware or plumbing supply store. Coil enough tubing at the back of the unit to allow movement for cleaning.
Tools Required: • • • • • • Putty Knife Pliers 1/4 inch Socket Wrench Needle Nose Pliers or Nut Driver Adjustable Wrench Knife 01 Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet. 02 Remove the ice tray from the freezer. 03 Move the shelf to the next partition. 04 Remove plugs from the inside freezer compartment with putty knife. 05 Peel off label covering ice maker hole. 06 With needle nose pliers, remove foam from hole.
07 Push water inlet tube into small hole on the back of the refrigerator. Rotate while inserting tube until flat surface of inlet tube is tight against the back of the refrigerator. 08 Push plastic water supply tubing into water inlet tube as far as it will go and manually tighten nylon compression nut onto threaded end of inlet tube. Tighten another one half turn with a wrench. 09 Install adjustable leveling bracket on the bottom of the ice maker with screw. DO NOT tighten bracket.
12 Mount the ice maker onto the two screws you installed in step 10. Tighten screws. Make sure water inlet tube is sitting inside the fill cup. 13 Adjust the leveling bracket to level ice maker. Ice maker is level when gap between freezer wall and ice maker is the same at the top and bottom. Tighten screw when level. Ice Maker Leveling Bracket Screw 14 Reinstall freezer shelf in lower position. Set ice container on shelf. Ice Container 15 Locate the holes at the bottom right corner of the rear panel.
16 Connect wiring harness to water valve. Make sure connection is tight. Wiring Harness 17 Push plastic water supply tubing into the bottom of the water valve as far as it will go. Manually tighten the nylon nut onto the threaded end of the water valve. Tighten another one half turn with wrench. DO NOT over tighten. Before installing the water supply line, you will need: • • • • • Basic tools: adjustable wrench, flat head screwdriver, and phillips screwdriver. Access to a household cold water line with water pressure between 20 and 120 psi. A water supply line made of 1/4 inch (6.4 mm) OD, copper tubing. To determine the length of copper tubing needed, you will need to measure the distance from the ice maker inlet valve at the back of the refrigerator to your cold water pipe. Then add approximately 7 feet (2.

4.3 Temperature Control Operation 01 The freezer is automatically in the mid temperature setting. 02 If the freezer is in the COLDER position when the temperature is lower than 10ºF. 5 CLEANING 5.1 Defrosting Auto-defrost for frost-free refrigerator. 5.2 Cleaning the Interior and the Exterior of the Unit • Remove all the shelves and the salad bin. To remove the salad bin, first remove the lower door shelf. • Wipe the inside of the unit with a weak solution of bicarbonate soda and then rinse with warm water using a wrung-out sponge or cloth. Wipe completely dry before replacing the shelves and salad bin.
6 MAINTENANCE 6.1 Changing the Internal Light Setting the refrigerator control to off does not remove power to the light circuit. CAUTION: Light bulb may be hot.
