Mounting Thermostat

1. Engage tabs at the top of the thermostat and wall-

plate. See Fig. 6. Be sure to align subbase pins to

avoid damage to the thermostat.

2. Press lower edge of case to close and latch.

NOTE: To remove the thermostat from the wall, first pull

out at the bottom of the thermostat; remove top

last.

NORMALLY, WIRE E ON THERMOSTAT TO W1/E ON PANEL;

ALTERNATIVELY, INSTALL JUMPER FROM E TO Y ON

THERMOSTAT AND OMIT WIRE TO W1/E ON PANEL.

CONNECT O/B JUMPER ON TZ-4 PANEL WHEN O/B TERMINAL ON

THERMOSTAT IS CONFIGURED AS O.

CONNECT THE OC TERMINALS ONLY IF THE ZONE-A-LONE UNOCCUPIED

FEATURE IS DESIRED. SEE TZ-4 INSTALLER INSTRUCTIONS FOR EXPLANATION.
