(2) The USIM and Security Smart Card application reside on UICCs (Universal Integrated
Circuit Card). Inmarsat has developed the applications and specifies the permissible
devices which have the application loaded on them.
(3) The SCM has no Complex Electronic devices. The software can only be loaded in the
factory.
