Limit Stop Assembly
GENERAL
The 4074BWJ Limit Stop Assembly includes one each of
the following components:
4074 Envelope containing:
129564 Stop.
107194 Truss Notched Head Screw.
23466 Adjusting Wrench..
32005639-001 Label.
INSTALLATION
When Installing this Product…
1.
Read these instructions carefully. Failure to follow
them could damage the product or cause a
hazardous condition.
2.
Check on the ratings given in the instructions and
marked on the product to make sure the product is
suitable for your application.
3.
Installer must be a trained, experienced, flame
safeguard service technician.
4.
After installation is complete, check out the product
operation as provided in these instructions.
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard.
Can cause severe injury or death.
Disconnect the power supply before beginning
installation to prevent possible electrical shock or
equipment damage.
1.
Read these installation instructions completely
before attempting to install the stop.
2.
With the L404 Control facing the installer as shown
in Fig. 1, use the slotted end of the adjusting
wrench as a screwdriver to remove the screw (front
lower lefthand corner) fastening the clear plastic
cover to the control housing. Set aside the screw
and cover.
3.
Holding the control firmly and holding the stop with
a finger, position the stop so that:
a. It is behind the MAIN SCALEPLATE.
b. The lower edge of the stop is at the desire
MAIN SCALEPLATE setpoint.
c. The hole in the stop is aligned with the opening
in the center of the MAIN SCALEPLATE. (Note
that the bend in the stop facilitates the
alignment by resting against the righthand
edge of the MAIN SCALEPLATE.)
4.
Insert the truss-notched screw through the opening
in the center of the MAIN SCALEPLATE and
thread into the hole in the stop. Use the hexagonal
opening end of the adjusting wrench as a
screwdriver to tighten the truss-notched screw
against the MAIN SCALEPLATE.
5.
if the Limit Stop is used as a safety stop, then apply
the 32005639-001 Label to the inside surface of
the control cover in the upper left corner.
6.
Replace the control cover and fasten with the
cover screw.
7.
.Check the operation of the control to verify
operation at the desired setpoint.
