Weather Shield
APPLICATION
The 32003036-001 Weather Shield provides moderate
protection to actuators mounded outdoors. The product
is not designed as a watertight enclosure. The one
piece, smoke tinted, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate (CAB)
housing allows easy mounting over many Honeywell
Direct Coupled Actuators (DCA). The tinted, clear
housing allows easy viewing of the actuator operation.

INSTALLATION
When Installing this Product...
1.
Read these instructions carefully. Failure to follow
them could damage the product or cause a
hazardous condition.
2.
Check the ratings given in the instructions and on
the product to make sure the product is suitable
for your application.
3.
Installer must be a trained, experienced service
technician.
4.
After installation is complete, check out product

Mounting
The 32003036-001 Weather Shield is supplied as a
one-piece enclosure. Two pre-drilled 7/8 in. wiring holds
allow easy conduit connections to the housing.
IMPORTANT
The level of environmental protection depends
upon the care taken during installation.
NOTE: Two plastic plugs are provided to seal unused
holes. A neoprene gasket is also provided to
achieve a better seal between the base of the
enclosure to the mounting surface.
1.
Install the actuator using instructions shipped with
the device.
2.
Shorten the actuator anti-rotation strap to fit
inside the enclosure.
IMPORTANT
Do not stretch the gasket or over time it will
pull away from the housing.
3.
When using the gasket:
a. Remove the backing.
b. Lay the gasket on the flange of the housing.
4.
Attach any conduit fittings to the housing.
5.
Thread the cable through the fittings.
6.
Center the housing over the actuator.
7.
Fasten the housing to the mounting surface with
self-tapping screws.
NOTE: High water levels can require drain holes
along the shield bottom.

after installation.
