Long Term or Seasonal Storage (greater than 90 days)
Draining the Fuel Tank and Carburetor
1. Place an approved gasoline container below the carburetor, and use
a tray to avoid spilling fuel.
2. Move the fuel valve lever to the OF
F position, Loosen the carburetor
drain bolt by turning 1 to 2 turns counterclockwis
e and drain the
fuel from the carburetor.
3. Remove the sediment cup, and then move the fuel valve lever to the
ON position and
drain the fuel from the fuel tank.
Gasoline is highly flammable and
explosive.
You can be burned or seriously
injured when handling fuel.
• Keep
heat, sparks, and flame
away.
• Han
dle fuel only outdoors.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
