Fuse Replacement
Electric Starter Will Not
Operate

Main Fuse
Disconnect the battery cable at the
battery negative ( ) terminal bef ore
replacing the f use.
Failure to do so may cause a short
circuit.
The 10A, 15A, and 30A main fuses
protect the electric starter relay and
related circuits.
Remove the electrical parts cover.
Remove the engine cover.
Stop the engine and disconnect the
battery cable.
The 10A main fuse protects the
ignition switch and related circuits. If
this fuse blows, the engine will not
start or run, and the power trim/tilt
switch will not activate the trim/tilt
mechanism.
A 70A ACG fuse protects the
alternator circuit. If the ACG fuse
blows, the engine will not charge the
battery. Refer to p. .
Remove the fuse case lid.
