SEALING WASHER
Incorrect spark plugs can cause
engine damage.
RECOMMENDED SPARK PLUGS:
Disconnect the spark plug caps
from the spark plugs.
Unlock and remove the engine
cover (p. ).
Remove the spark plugs with a
sparkplugwrench.
Inspect the spark plugs. Replace
them if the electrodes are worn, or
if the insulators are cracked or
chipped.
Measure the spark plug electrode
gap with a wire type feeler gauge.
The gap should be 0.028 0.031
inches (0.70 0.80 mm).
