Blue and green indicators are used for general information. See your Owner’s Manual for more information. Malfunction Indicators If an indicator remains on, there may be a problem; see a dealer.

MID Main Displays MID Main Display When you start the engine, the MID shows the main display. To toggle between the MID displays: • Press either Info button (p/q) for the main displays. • Press SEL/RESET for the sub-displays.
14 Insight EX NAV TRG_ATG_NEW STYLE 7/26/2013 10:26 AM Page 5 Programming the Auto Door Unlock Setting AUTO DOOR LOCKS Press and hold either Info (p/q) button on the steering wheel to go to the “Customize Settings” display on the MID, then press SEL/RESET to enter the menu. Program how and when the vehicle doors automatically lock and unlock. Default Lock/Unlock Setting Default Lock Setting All doors and the hatch are preset to lock when your vehicle reaches about 10 mph. 4.

14 Insight EX NAV TRG_ATG_NEW STYLE 7/26/2013 10:26 AM Page 7 Auto Idle Stop ECO Assist Scoring Monitors the fuel efficiency of your driving style in real time and converts results into leaves, which are displayed in a series of five “plant” icons on the MID. Once you start your vehicle, make sure the MID shows the Ecological Drive Display on the display to view your Eco Assist score in real time. Shuts the engine off at a stop in order to maximize fuel efficiency.

Useful for engine braking, when driving in hilly terrain, or cornering. Paddle Modes Pull (-) to shift down. D-Paddle Shift Mode • Shift into Drive (D). • Pull (+) or (-) to temporarily switch from automatic to manual shift mode. • The speed number is displayed on the shift indicator.

How It Works • When you shift into Reverse (R), a real-time image of the area behind your vehicle is shown in the navigation display. • The rearview display turns off when you shift out of Reverse. Parking Guidelines • Yellow parking guidelines also appear to help you judge distance. They can be turned on or off.

For other destination options, see your Navigation Manual. Press and release the 1. Say “Display menu.” Say “Address.” Talk button before you say a command. 2. Say “Street,” then say the street name on the next screen. Do not include the direction (N, S, E, W) or type (St., Ave., Blvd., etc.). 3. A list of street names appears.

Works in cities where a clear FM traffic signal is available. Press and release the Talk button before you say a command. Displaying Traffic Information Say “Display traffic” to view highway flow data.

You can pair your compatible phone only when the vehicle is stopped. Press and release the Talk button before you say a command. 1. Press PHONE to go to the Phone screen. A prompt appears. Say “Yes.” 2. Make sure your phone is in discovery mode. Say “OK.” 3. HFL searches for your phone. Say the number next to the phone when it appears on the list.

Some gasoline in North America contains MMT, a manganese-based fuel additive.
