Servicing Your Honda
To Reduce Compression Damping
(SOFT):
To Increase Compression Damping
(HARD):
To adjust to the standard position:
Turn the damping adjuster ( )
clockwise until it will no longer turn
(lightly seats). This is the full hard
setting.
Turn the adjuster counterclockwise
clicks so that the punch mark ( ) on
the adjuster aligns with the reference
punch mark ( ). This is the standard
position.
For a light load and smooth road
conditions, turn the adjuster
counterclockwise toward SOFT (S).
For a firmer ride and rough road
conditions, turn the adjuster clockwise
toward HARD (H).
